Safe Schools was founded on a simple but powerful belief: no child should be afraid to go to school. What began as a grassroots initiative led by a small group of educators and child welfare advocates has grown into a movement that has positively impacted over 3,000 students and more than 200 educators, strengthening school communities and nurturing safer learning environments.

Over the years, we’ve seen firsthand the difference that informed, empowered schools can make. We’ve watched teachers gain the confidence to identify and respond to warning signs. We’ve seen students who were once targets of bullying become advocates for their peers. And we’ve witnessed school communities come together around a shared commitment to safety and belonging.

That’s what drives us every day.
