OUR STORY

Safe Schools was founded on a simple but powerful belief: no child should be afraid to go to school. What began as a grassroots initiative led by a small group of educators and child welfare advocates has grown into a movement that has positively impacted over 5,000 students and more than 450 educators, strengthening school communities and nurturing safer learning environments.

Over the years, we've seen firsthand the difference that informed, empowered schools can make. We've watched teachers gain the confidence to identify and respond to warning signs. We've seen students who were once targets of bullying become advocates for their peers. And we've witnessed school communities come together around a shared commitment to safety and belonging.

That's what drives us every day.

OUR MISSION & VALUES

At Safe Schools, we believe that learning can only happen when children feel safe.
Our mission is to build institutional capacity to create safe spaces for every child to thrive.
